Production cycle

At each stage of production, distribution and sales we create added value and have impact on keeping the existing jobs or creating new ones – in close cooperation with suppliers and buyers of our products.

in the plant

Importantly, the value-added chain does not end with the purchase of a product by the consumer. Coca-Cola HBC Poland cooperates with several organisations to protect the environment. We start those activities at the earliest stage by co-owning the packaging recovery and recycling system .

The value-added chain in practice:

We buy products and services from over 3 900 Polish suppliers.

938 million litres of beverages were produced at four Coca-Cola HBC Poland plants in 2010. The production plant starts with syrup, concentrate or beverage base to create finished products which are packaged in PET or glass bottles, cans and cartons.

In addition, we are committed to meet and exceed customers and consumers expectations by consistently offering high quality beverages. This commitment is underpinned by the international standard ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 as well as by our own Quality and Food Safety policy and the global standards of The Coca-Cola Company.

Coca-Cola HBC Poland monitors production processes closely and has sophisticated control equipment and testing programmes for key stages of the process. Electronic bottle inspection equipment on all refillable bottling lines is installed which can identify even the tiniest irregularity in the beverage.

Our products are delivered across Poland from 26 distribution centres.

We deliver beverages to 120,000 outlets across the country – wholesalers, stores, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

Our cooling equipment and vending machines can be found at almost any point of retail sale.

Our high-quality beverages reach millions of consumers across the country helping them quench their thirst, nourishing them and providing a moment of relaxation and pleasure.

We are a shareholder of the packaging waste recovery organisation Rekopol, whose aims include developing a selective packaging collection system by subsidising selective collection locally and educating the public.

We are also a member of the industry coalition for environment-friendly packaging.
